We had fun creating another holiday video using live footage and animation. We like what we did last year, so we were nervous we wouldn't be able to live up to it. We think we pulled it off. Our good friends at Blank Space did the live action shooting and the final video editing.

A groundbreaking event on a .26 acre parcel at 901 S Gale St brought together a sizable crowd. The Mayor, ultimately responsible for the vacant Fleet Block across the street, praised the Salt Lake Bicycle Collective for “supporting people from all walks of life in the community.”

We created concept renderings for the Launch Party scheduled for November 2022 - a year before the race. The rendered elements were added to photographs of the Las Vegas skyline. We were given only basic concept information, so we used a lot of create license to meet a very short deadline.

The founder of Salt Lake-based A/E/C illustration firm Bowen Studios, he has always had a good eye for art, and over the past eight years, Bowen has invested much of his free time into taking otherworldly images of celestial objects.“
It’s a lot of fun,” he said of the pursuit of optimum images of the moon, sun, planets, and stars. “I enjoy seeing what’s out there. We created renderings and animations of: Lobby areas, pool & pool bar, interiors of several units, as well as aerial view over the ocean.

BOWEN STUDIOS INVOLVEMENT:
Using 3D models supplied by various architects, and an aerial photograph of the city, we created a rendering highlighting the soon-to-be built projects.

Kasandra VerBrugghen, Spy Hop’s executive director, said the group’s leaders have worked for years to raise funds to build the new facility...."

Attendees at the groundbreaking used the Oculus Go to view a Virtual Tour of the planned building that we created. We also created rendering and animations to help with the fundraising effort.
"Architects and developers often face the challenge of needing to describe a concept for a new project before it makes sense to devote time and money on plans and drawings. How do they best convey their project, without drawings, when pitching to new clients, investors or the city?"
BOWEN STUDIOS INVOLVEMENT:
Brent Bowen was asked to write an article on design trends.
"More than 600 high school students will converge at the Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) South City Campus on March 13, 2014, to learn more about careers in technology. With the campus' new Center for Arts and Media as a focal point, students will learn about careers in technology in workshops."
BOWEN STUDIOS INVOLVEMENT:
Brent Bowen was invited to be one of two a guest speakers at the opening of the DigiForge Student Technology Conference. Brent presented on the ways that he uses technology in three personal ways: his business, his love of international travel, and his hobby of astro-photography
